Integrality and national history in the university training of the education professional II Taller Internacional “Las ciencias sociales y humanísticas desde la universidad”

Abstract
Based on theoretical-methodological assumptions related to the conception of integral social history, supported by the globalizing methodology of the so-called total history, assumed by historiography and historical and Marxist science, in the light of the dialectical-materialist vision of social life, its assumption in the teaching-learning of History, particularly of Cuban History, is highlighted in the context of the current improvement of the National Education System, given the contribution of this conception to the integral formation of new generations. Based on the results of the second diagnostic study on the integral formation of the professional, carried out by the associated project of the Center of Educational Studies of the University of Pedagogical Sciences "Enrique José Varona": The pedagogical integrality in the university formation of the education professionals, the need and importance of maintaining the patriotic history in the study plans of the pedagogical careers was founded, to give continuity to the deepening in its study, through globalizing subjects treated with problematizing approach that contributed to the integrality of the education professional in function of the fulfillment of its social task.
