Abstract
Universities have recently seen evaluation as a necessary process to improve their postgraduate academic programs. The System of Evaluation and Accreditation of Masters, of the National Accreditation Board (JAN) in Cuba, has promoted the need to take into account the impact of these programs as a way to meet the expectations of society. The work shows the results achieved by the master's degree in Management managed by nine Higher Education Institutions (IES) with higher accreditation categories. The external evaluation reports carried out by the evaluation commissions from the year 2000 to the year 2022 were studied. A qualitative and quantitative analysis of the last process carried out in the nine HEIs that today manage the program was carried out, based on the indicators reflected in the evaluation guide: publications, events, recognitions, percentage of doctors in the cloister and defenses of the written memories. In addition, the regularities detected and the criteria of the interviews and surveys applied to students, graduates, faculty and managers are shown, where practical experience in management activities is recognized.
